To be Wagyu or not to be Wagyu

I purchased a gorgeous 14-pound brisket from my local butcher. He charged me $70. I took it home, trimmed it and will be smoking it on July 4

If I bought a Waygu brisket, it probably would have cost me $250. I'm not saying it is not a good product, but I will never pay 300-350% more.
 
Either way those steaks look delicious. I would expect $100+ per pound for wag you, but I’d probably mention it to them as well though since it was QUITE deceptive.
