Haven't been on here for a while. Looking for info on a recipe or technique that former posted about heating/smoking an already smoked spiral ham with a small foil tray of bacon above the ham dripping the grease through some holes in the foil pan. Anyone remember or care to chime in about this.

I don't remember the recipe but, I'd not feel comfortable having raw-ish bacon/oil dripping onto my ham. While I always warm my ham up in the smoker, it doesnt need to be more than warm as there are no germs to kill. I'm not sure bacon drippings would be germ-free so would potentially contaminate the ham. This is just my thought so, someone else can chime in and I maybe might learn something new.

Use the advanced search function and look for ham in the subject line. Lots of past threads on that topic.
