I have a commercial freezer that I am converting to a smoker. I have built a control box for it and that is controlling a electric element that I got from a electric bullet smoker I got on CL for $10. Built a cold smoke generator for smoke.

looks great from the out side, hope there's no plastic inside. ugly things get released as plastic melts and burns.the really old fridges were all metal inside and I have seen several of those over the years,a pie pan of charcoal and wood chips would run for a very long time they said

Its all metal inside except the doors. They have not even began to warp but I do intend to replace with some steel. The hottest I have ran it so far is 225
