I didn't have a big batch to cook so I used my lard/carnita pot instead of my big crawdad boiling pot.
Gathered the ingredients.. onions, garlic, smoked sausage, lemon, tatoes, corn, shrimp..... and some asparagus, cause I had it on hand.
Used my double burner again...
I season the pot with onion, lemons, garlic, smoked sausage, salt and Swamp Dust...
salted the pot and gave it a taste test for heat..
next the tatoes...
the chickens show up to see what I'm up to..
when the tatoes are almost tender, I add the corn..
start some garlic butter...
last comes the shrimp and asparagus..
supper is ready.
Nothing fancy but it went well with a cold St Pauli Girl beer. :grin:
