According to two different folks in earlier posts in this thread, you can smoke them raw in shell successfully. I honestly thought they might blow since I've seen that happen in microwaves. I guess not though. Makes me wonder if ribs explode in the microwave....

You can smoke SPAM in its shell too. Give that a try as well :thumb:
