Have you looked at the cost per serving of brisket meals at today's prices?

What do you think?

Is it a good deal or should we consider other options as to taste vs value?

Don't know what current brisket prices are but I do know my local Costco had choice Tri Tip in the cryovac bulk (maybe 5 tri tips in it) for $10.99/lb and choice whole beef tenderloin for $20.99 / lb. I purchased neither and opted for the $3.99 / lb hamburger instead. I've nothing against burgers, meatloaf, and tacos.

I serve Brisket as a treat. It is not a value based meal. Between trimming fat and shrinkage you loose a lot of the weight you pay for.

Unless your doing crazy volume I don't think brisket will ever be a good "value."
