A "Healthy" Chicken Sandwich

Healthy referring to the heft as in size :becky:

A nice sized, butterflied breast

Seasoned

In the meantime I melted down some of the SCP lard

And made some fresh cut homemade fries

Next I fried some bacon

And finally the chicken patty

Mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato , bacon

Last but not least pickles

Good 3/4" thick if not more

On a pretzel bun

As insanely good as it was the size was massive so I only finished half. Thanks for looking!

Initially I wanted to make a Nashville hot chicken sammich but wanted to utilize the rest of the ingredients. Love a good chicken sandwich and it was perfect. I was hooked on the Jack In The Box chicken sandwich line in my younger days in the wee hours of the morning. This is the grown up version.

Oh we're going to be making some stuff for sure. :mrgreen: Fries are the easiest part. :thumb:
