Definitely disappointing quality on the paint. On the cart in particular -- at least the cook chamber has to deal with the temperature changes. (though my Weber's cart has been the weak link as well)

I'm going to spray mine with cooking oil every now and then when cooking on it. I also played with the sliding diffuser and about 5-6 inches in from right I had temps within 5 degrees too left, top right, bottom left and bottom right. Slide it all way out to right and top right and bottom right were about 15-20 degrees hotter. Works as advertised. I agree 100% on the paint. I would expect better. Will see how mine holds up
