What's Your Favorite Fatty?

I tried a Bob Evan's "pre-roll" this past weekend, giving it one last chance...

And it was the last chance.

I don't know when this happened, but the Bob Evan's brand of fatty logs are consistently so salty, that they are nearly inedible.

We actually tossed out half a fatty, it was just too salty to eat.

We do get hog breakfast sausage from the butcher in town which is his retail location for his farm, but we sometimes have grabbed a Bob Evans at the grocer for convenience.

No longer, it's butcher only from now on. He goes right from processing to cryosuck to freezer, and doesn't overload with sodium et al to improve shelf life.
