I am sure this has been discussed before . But what brand of ribs do you all prefer to smoke with? aka Hormel, Tyson etc
the ones on sale !
Yucko, they are injecting something in there.I've bought pork loins from them and cooked them and after slicing you can see thousands of little tiny holes like a freekin sponge.

The only brand I've noticed on any ribs I have purchased has been IBP. I don't buy by brand. I check the labels for any sign of enhancement. I then sort through the packages, looking for the fat content and shape I prefer. Some slabs have more thin areas, which I try to avoid.

I never really pay attention to brand either I just buy from the commissary as they tend to have the cheapest meat (ribs = $1.86/lb).
But you guys are talking about enhancements. .....what is this? I've eaten pork loin in the past that looked like a sponge too but I can't remember where I got it. Walmart maybe.
