Uncommon Brethren Generosity

Well as instructed, I made the bond. Didn't even feel it.

First thing I sliced was Ginger Root, Garlic and Onions.

Never ever ever have felt anything sharper by a very very long way...

Fellas, I know there are good knives out there that people pay a lot of money for, but I can't imagine that a single one amongst you would not be proud to have such a knife.

Cheers!

Bill

Very nice gift and very generous of Bucc.

I seem to recall that when receiving a knife as a gift, tradition says you give the giver a coin. From what I remember it is to ensure that you don't cut yourself with the knife and/or you don't sever the friendship.

BTW, I'm not saying what should/should not be done, just remembering some info I picked up along the road of life.

What brand is the knife and where could we purchase one, Bucc's?

Very nice of you, Brother. Very dangerous for Bill, though.

Awesome gesture!

Mind if I ask what brand of knife that is? My fingers felt like they got cut just from looking at it!

Man, that is a thing of awesome. What is that knife, as I just got into the Japanese knifes after years of German steel. I went entry level with the Tojiro DP knives. But I really love the blade and balance and yours is a thing of beauty.

It's a newly developed Japanese steel but unavailable for sale outside of Japan.
I had get that purchased in Japan and bring it out.
