These Tri Tip steaks were phenomenal! Tender, cooked to a perfect medium rare, not much else to say.

It's been a good weekend of outdoor cooking for me. :mrgreen:

Great lookin plate,,,,
I have done whole tri tips but haven’t done the tri tip steaks.
I have seen that at my local Market basket and wondered how they would be.
Thanks for the input and I’ll give them a try.
 
Looks like a very "comforting" meal, Dom! :wink:


In addition to grilling the tri tip steaks whole, I also like this cut for kabobs, especially when they're nicely marbled.
 
Those tri tip steaks look perfect lunchman. I agree, those orange things don't belong on that perfect plate.
