I have cooked a version of this before, but I decided to follow his recipe to see how it differed from mine. His was far and away better, so I present Monterey Chicken.
First I seasoned with regular chicken seasoning, since the girls don't like hot or spicy.
I put them on the grill with a couple of regular teriyaki chicken breasts, in case the girls wanted those and didn't like the experiment.
Once they hit 160, I gave them a coat of Brother Chad's Yes, Dear Competition Sauce, generously covered them in shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, crumbled bacon and green onions (the ones without are for the offspring).
Back on to finish, along with some twice- baked potatoes.
The finished product and plated with some fresh fried okra the neighbors gave us.
This was probably the best all around meal I have made in a long time. Everything turned out great.
Thanks for looking.

Awesome Monterey Chicken.

Yes Dear Sauce was also a great choice for the others, I just can't find a better sauce to share at my table.

Makes me wanna swear out loud on a Sunday morning. I will give this a try, been looking at video of Malcolm but it is a real winner! Great cook.
