The city is loaded with shoppers. Crashes on every corner, shelves emptying at the grocery due to an impending possible dry blizzard bomb cyclone. Took Mom a Christmas bouquet, Lord knows she deserves it with the worry she put in on me. Hit Sam's and picked up her desired smoked meats for Christmas Day.. Then I realized, it's freaking Taco Tuesday. Local processed 85/15 burger, lightly flashed in oil corn tortillas and fixings. Too many extras for a true street taco, but much better than The Bell or The Villa. I like Taco Tuesday's. It's a quality of life thing here on the High Plains.
So was studying a Pueblo Green Chile recipe. Cubed loin (dirt cheap most days) dredged and fried in evoo to start then a whole bunch of other things. Here's the nexus to this group. The dude adds anywhere from 1/4-1/2 Cup of barbecue sauce to his green chile pot. Said it's his secret ingredient that drive folks wild. Heell I gots to know too.
