If the crucible rub isn't hot enough those two aren't going to cut it.
Ghost pepper would be as hot as I'd ever go. How much of it did you use? I just can't imagine that not being hot enough. HDD fires me up and I love heat
I used about 2.5 ounces per rack of rib before cooking..and then sprinkled the rest on after they were done.
Don't get me wrong...they were pretty hot. Definitely got me a tiny bit teary eyed and mouth was definitely burning.
Still, it's not crazy hot like I was expecting from a ghost pepper rub. I want to try and reproduce the spice level I found at this local Thai place I went to several months ago.
They have spice levels of 1-5 on the menu. Off the menu, there is no limit.
I graduated up to 15, and there was a point where I had to stop eating because I was on fire! I don't want to be that way with my Q because there's no way I want to stop eating it...but I definitely want to be like "holy #@#%" this is freaking hot kind of experience. :icon_devil
