First attempt at the sous vide and I have to say a success. My only issue is the final product. I should have had the grill hotter or used a CI pan to get a nice crisp outside, otherwise perfection. I will have to look for a smaller pot for this as this one takes a lot of water for 1 steak!

I like the Anova one as the app keeps me informed of what is going on.

Looks pretty grim when it comes out of the bag.

On the grill with some fresh asparagus and mushrooms.

Served with asparagus wrapped in Boursin cheese and puff pastry. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase and can't wait to try other things.

I use my Sou Vide all the time.
I usually sear the meat off in a Carbon Steele or Cast Iron Pan and baste with Butter, Fresh Rose Mary and Garlic. Perfect every time.

You should see what it does to a cheap bottom round. It's amazing.

That looks great Dean!
I need to use my sous vide more often..Thanks for the inspiration! :-D
