Roll Call. Inside 30 days. SD BBQ Championships Huron, SD June 6&7

Right now there are 35 teams signed up to take their shot at over $14K in total prize money at the SD BBQ Championships, who else wants in? The procedes from this event go directly to the South Dakota State Fair Foundation which is building a new 4-H exhibit hall. There will be a chili cookoff and a beanbag tournament on Friday night. These are very popular with both the teams and the locals. On Saturday, in addition to the KCBS event will be the People's Choice/Backyard BBQ cooking 4 additional categories with both public and blind judging. Saturday night will feature a beer garden with live music with the Johnny Holm band as well as 3/8 mile dirt track racing at Dakota State Fair Speedway. Oh yeah, and the fairgrounds is also home to Wheeljam which features a huge car/truck/semi/bike show. Check it out!!
