Had the point from a brisket I ground into burger (Mrs. Ed said it was pry the best burger she ever had!), pulled it out for the 4th, all the kids were coming to the lake for the fireworks! The point was thawing during the Tri-tip cook.



Split it in half whorezontaly, one piece rubbed with "Award Winning Hart-Burn Competition BBQ Rub" the other with "Smokehouse 72" Award Wining BBQ rub.


These were full pans after making a pass for samples!

My next day lunch, real burnt ends (not square chunks), tater salad and baked beans.
