Question about BBQ Guru

I have been working on a project with a few other folks in an attempt to bring back the old Rocks BBQ Stoker. While doing some testing on the original BBQ Stoker we discovered that one can set it to an extremely high temp setting such as 2000 degrees. This would obviously turn the fan on and simply keep blowing potentially causing a serious fire.



My question for those that have a BBQ Guru is there a limit on what it will allow you set the target to temp? Is it possible to set the target temp to 2000 degrees in the web interface for I assume that the front panel interface most likely has a limit of 999.

But, I'll be nice - 475 F is the maximum temperature.
