Picanha on the Weber

I am getting so annoyed with these posts. I highly doubt this cut is better then Hanger steak, but in order for me to try this cut i need to buy a UNIT ( 25lbs ) for $170 from RD "

I wouldn't be able to enjoy it no matter how good it tasted if it cost that much per piece.


I remember when it cost $12 for a 1lb King crab leg ( yes one King crab leg weighed 1lb and cost $12. I used to complain how quick it took to eat $12 bucks, lol
Now those crab legs cost $45lb.

I have a Brazilian market a couple of mile from the house and they have a fine meat shop there.
Picanha is one of my favorites and just dry brine with the Brazilian rock salt over nite in the fridge.
I usually go indirect and then sear.
I mix up a batch of chimi churri and make a pig out of myself,,,LOL,,,
They make medications for people like me,,,
