Looks good to me. What did you use for the rub? Also I've seen whole packers, flats and points but never a "round"? Is it not from the brisket?
 
That looks great - I have never had or seen the corned beef round at Sprouts - available year around or just seasonal

How does the round compare to a corned/smoked brisket ?

The meat was a tighter consistency, but the corned part was there. Rub was coliander, mustard and black pepper.
 
You did good Marty.. I just checked the deli at a local grocer and they get $21.99 / lb. for Boar's Head pastrami :shock:
 
I’ll be checking out Sprouts soon and hope I can cook one like yours!!

Be sure to look for the managers specials, the best bacon I can find is sometimes $2.99 lb in the butcher case.
Also in my store there are two small cases that have some great spice deals at times.
