I have one of the original Slow n Sears. I used it for years on my Performer. I have moved to Panama now and don't have the Performer, but have a 26 Weber. I brought the SnS with me. What are the main disadvantages of using the original SnS on a 26? Shipping is expensive down here and don't want to have to buy another one.

I posed a similar question recently to Sako(ssv3) as I got a 26 and wondered how it would do with the SnS made for the 22, and he seemed to feel it should be fine, at least from the standpoint of using the SnS as a smoker.

Hopefully he'll chime in shortly with more details as he uses his SnS a lot.

I will say that the 26 uses more fuel but the SnS will probably be able to make enough heat for smoking. Just maybe not for as long.

It works fine in a 26. I have 3 SnS's with only one made for the 26 Weber and the difference is very minimal if at all. It'll work fine.
