Thanks everyone for the complements, as I am really stoked!

Below are some pics of the charcoal fire grate and the heat diffuser. Both are massive and ingenious, and reasons that Deep South is such a cool cooker. The charcoal grate is 1/2 inch thick and looks to have been cut on a water jet, while the heat diffuser has different sized holes based on the distance from the fire. A whole lot of thought went into building this beast!
