My first comp.

Turn in times:
1:00 Chicken
2:30 Ribs
4:00 Brisket

Good Luck, this will be my first comp as well.
 
Looks like the only things I didn't have are bug spray, zip-lock bags, and tools. Not sure why I need tools other than the fact you never know what's going to happen. I didn't think of bagging up the left overs people are always willing to take BBQ off your hands, all last summer while I was training myself on this smoker I had no problems finding people to eat the stuff.

You will figure out after your 2nd or 3rd comp that you can pack much lighter. That list is great, but make a list of only the things you use after the first couple of comps and just take those. It is easy to overpack and it can be a beating.
 
I'm not sure if I met everyone from the forum that came out, but I did find a way to screw up my turn in on ribs and brisket. This week at Ennis should be better I wont be second guessing myself, and now that the first one is out of the way I know what I'm looking at now. This next one should be a lot easier :wink:
