I don't know much about kamodos, but I know that $1500 puts it in a category with some stiff competition.

I've seen some pics of it and it looks cheap.

Look at those tiny casters already getting hung in the smallest of cracks.

^^^ that oic is from Russ Jones video.
I didn't think it looked too bad. Pics are no substitute for actually seeing it person (which I have not done)
tell ya this, I wouldn't be trading my Primo for it. LOL.

As is typical the Brethren tend to dismiss anything new right off the bat. Did anybody look at the website and see how they're attempting to mitigate the "stale smoke" issue common in kamados?

The setup should allow for a more energetic fire so there is less smoldering and more airflow...maybe this thing will produce a better smoke flavor than a traditional kamado.

Pretty cool concept overall and I like the way they built the Slow 'n Sear directly into the kamado, along with the use of the rotating grate for searing / grilling. Most kamados don't easily allow for grate rotation, so it's a neat concept.

I didn't see anyone dismiss it just some observations. My eggs leak so much I don't have to worry about stale smoke!
