I use it to thin down my shoe wax, really adds a nice luster to the shined shoe.
 
I use it in Baked Beans (Mom's recipe) and in steak marinade since they have to be cooked fast and don't get the benefit of wood smoke.
I also have gotten some Smoke Flour (as they call it) which is a smoke flavor added to dextrose powder made by MySpiceSage. My favorite to use is Mesquite. This I add to my beef and pork rubs but not my fish season as it is too strong for that.
 
The only times I have used it is in beans, and only if I don't happen to have some smoked hocks in the freezer.
