Earlier this week the wife (and kids) was out of town due to her grandma having surgery. Went to the store after work looking for something easy to grill up for dinner. Thinking some pork chops or a hanger steak sounded pretty good if on sale.
Get to the meat aisle: BINGO! 12 oz. Duroc pork loin filets yellow tagged down to $2.92 each. 1 day out from the sell by dare. Bought all 3 they had, cooked 2 (one for that night and the other for leftovees) and froze the 3rd.
