Got Wood.
Never posted a cook thread before but had a good one tonight and figured no better time than the present. We had some leftover mushrooms we needed to cook so I decided to go with a NY strip with a mushroom cream sauce. I’ve always been a “purist” with steaks and don’t usually put a sauce on it but this did not disappoint! It was raining so I reverse seared the strip on my Weber summit Kamado with a little hickory wood but seared it inside on the stove since I didn’t want to stand in the rain….
