I just got my kindling kracker XL and a nice tree stump chopping block to mount it on. The problem is the XL doesn't have holes to screw it down to the stump like the regular size.

How do I secure the XL to the block? Or do I not need to?

Drill some holes??
Maybe Bruce can come over and drive it inta that stump with his 10'er??
I'm just playing about...
Ya could drill some holes and drop some t35 timber locks in it or some sds screws.

I don't have mine attached, it has a wide base and isn't going anywhere. I sometimes find it helpful to re-position it, so having it screwed down would be a minus, not a plus.

Mine is not screwed down. I place it on my chopping stump when needed and then it goes back in the shed when not in use.

Question: How do I mount it

Answers: I didn't mount it

I was hoping someone would give specifics on lag bolt & washer size.

Yeah... don't mount it... put it in a large cardboard box to catch the splits. It won't move much at all as I do it all the time.
