heads up on a good new cookbook from sean brock

Sean Brock is a highly trained chef, who happens to be passionate about the South, Virginia and his heritage as a Southerner, and he bridges the two elements to create beautiful food that has a traditional heart and soul.

I admire chefs like him far more than many/most of today's hot chefs, who cook food that is so international and fusion, that it is impossible to know what and where the food or chef come from.
 
I'll be making the cream corn and the cracklin corn bread out of that book tomorrow.
 
Thanks for the heads up on this book. I too have way too many unimportant books and purposely didn't open this thread for a few days but I noticed it was going out 3 pages and decided maybe there was something here. I just ordered it. Excited to see what it has!
