Ham on a Spit

Any Ideas for rubs to put on a ham on the open fire?

Larred, is it a store bought ham, pre-cooked, or a home cured ham?
Sometimes store bought hams can be a bit salty. imo No extra salt is needed in the rub.

Low sodium store ham, I really dont want to add much salt

Yea there is no need need to add anything...you'll get all the goodness you want just with a spritz of water every now and then.

Spritz with a little honey and water and create a glaze. Or instead you can spritz with a coke. It's the sugar you want to create a crust.
