The loaded SnS Grill is a bit heavier than a Weber, so moving it around with a bad back became a chore. I finally took the time to add front castors to make my life a bit better.
I'm no fabricator or welder, so don't look too closely. That said, it's sturdy enough and functions quite well, but I sure wish SnS offered the option.

Good work. I agree. Should be requirement for all grills to have casters on all
Legs or come pre fabd for the option

Going to copy that design :thumb:
But how did you connect the castors to the legs?

I got some tube stock that was pretty close to the ID of the leg. I cut off a 6" piece and used that as an insert in the leg. The lower wire shelf has tabs the go into the legs and hold the legs in place, so I just drilled like holes in the insert and that holds the insert in. Hardest part was marking an angled cut line at the bottom of each leg the same height as the wheels. Also, I had to raise the height of the shelf holes to accommodate for the stem of the screw-in castors. Probably would have easier if I'd just used plate castors that screw onto the metal plate that's welded to each insert.
