Bacon is nuts these days too.

the price on Bacon is nutz these days. the last 3 packs :becky: bought were as fatty as any off brand ive ever seen. I only make it for Sunday breakfast but for now I'm only getting it from the meat counter where I can see exactly what I'm getting.

what's crazy is not only has cost gone up but quality is down across the board. don't get me started on the lumber packages I've seen this past year.

I'd gladly pay $6 for eggs and bacon if I wasn't looking at the same price for heating oil.

My ducks and chickens have been laying well. I share with friends and barter with other folks who have items I don't raise. Last trade, I scored two bags of dried chiles from Mexico. :grin:
