First crabs of the year! Hope to have a lot more this summer!

The crabs are shedding so it is slim pickings in South Jersey.
I bought these from a local crabber and they were fresh out of the water. wound up buying a dozen and a half #1 males.

Good first crab feast of the year but thing won’t pick up for a couple more weeks.

Oh YUM. I am so jealous. Love those things I dozen crabs and a few beers and I am good for a few hours. A great trick my S-I-L taught me. Take a nice wedge of a fresh tomato- Jerseys are the best, rub it on the shell to get the seasoning and eat that too. Sooooooo GOOD

We do, it’s called Hanks hot sauce! It’s made in Sea Isle.
