Thanks for looking!!

Good to see some one make tacos the proper way, corn torts and simple yet delicious innards.

Wow!! You certainly have a talent for tacos, Sako. Umm, my birthday is New Years Eve, another good day for tacos, just so you know...

Looks great. I need to try some tacos with radishes, usually it's just onion & cilantro.

looks like you had a Happy Father's Day. Digging the griddle insert BTW.

Another killer taco cook, Sako!

This is the first time(I think) I've seen you griddle the carne asada - how was the finished product?

Thank Andy!

Majority if not all taquerias here have radish, pickled onions, pickled or grilled jalapenos on the side. You usually grab them. What pickled ginger is to sushi is what radish it to a taco. :becky:

Thanks Richard! It's definitely been a long time since I used a griddle for tacos. I actually liked it. Taste is reminiscent of the taco spots or the hole in the walls that make great tacos on the plancha. I got tired of the blackstone rusting so I got the SS and really love it.

Thanks Adam! I like it. It's stainless steel and braced at the bottom so it doesnt warp. Solid griddle and size for the money. Can't beat it for $125. Got tired of seasoning the blackstone 28 insert only to have it rust out. No more issues.

Wow...mouthwatering and that's just from the pictures!!

Hey, I've never made an avocado salsa before....would you mind dropping in the recipe here?

Sounds and looks interesting!!

Absolutely! You can tweak it any way you want btw.

**Roast whatever needs fire roasting and let it cool completely first**

For this batch which came to about 10-12 oz I used

2-3 small to medium fire roasted tomatillos

1 fired roasted jalapeno (seeds removed)

1/2 of a fire roasted poblano pepper (seeds removed)

2-3 roasted garlic cloves

1 medium ripe avocado

About a tablespoon or more (I eyeballed) Mexican cream or plain sour cream

A few sprigs of fresh cilantro

1/2 of lime squeezed (or to taste)

A dash of avocado oil (optional)

Salt to taste

Run it in a blender or a food processor, refrigerate for a few hours and serve.
