Happy Easter and Passover to all!

Simple Easter Dinner today - Ham

Not much prep work, other than a glaze which doesn't show up well in this pic. The ham is fully cooked, needs to be heated so indirect on the Goldens' it goes. I got lazy (or smart) about not wanting to clean up drip pans and grates, so an aluminum foil boat comes into play -

The glaze was a Chef John recipe: brown sugar, honey, rice vinegar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire, pepper. Definitely good!

After about 3 hours at 360F, it's ready for dinner, with an internal temp around 135 -

Plated shots with Mashed Potatoes and Candied Carrots -

Plenty of ham left for the week's sandwiches and breakfasts. :-D

This is not your typical Easter Bread. Since my wife's been wanting her favorite bread, today I made a Jim Lahey No-Knead bread.

Cinnamon, Raisins, Cranberries, Walnuts

I didn't take pics of dough rising, etc. but the finished shots look good -

Not every bread I make is sourdough! :becky: This bread is still near the top of the list for complexity in flavor and ease in baking. And if it makes my wife happy....

All in all, an easy and relaxing day of grilling and baking, especially since the Mrs made the sides for dinner.

Thanks for reading through to the end of this post and I hope all had a great day.

Regards,
