Double-Layer Blue Corn Steak Tacos

I thought it might be time to recreate an old favorite from Taco Bell, the Double Layer taco. Only I wanted to revive it to my culinary standards, behold the blue corn double-layer steak and Hatch green chile taco. Some of the ingredients,


Hatch green chile


blue corn tortillas, black beans, chopped hatch chile, NY strip, red chile sauce, avocado and not shown, green onions, cilantro, smoked cheese, tomatos and lime.


NY strip steak


I fried the tortillas and spread on them a refried black bean and red chile sauce mix


add next tortilla, avocado, smoked cheese and steak


Hatch chile


green onions, cilantro, tomato and lime juice




add a local White IPA and guacamole with blue corn chips and enjoy!
