My Entry to "I'd hit that"!

"Please accept this as my entry into this Throwdown"
Ok, After years of posting. I never had an opportunity to enter a Throwdown.
But here goes:
Asked Wifey what she wanted for dinner.
She said something different. Beef Stroganoff.
I had my heart set on smoking something on Electra (my new/old Traeger)
Went to my local market who had short ribs on sale.
They had these little puny ribs.
I asked the butcher if they had anything bigger. He said I'll show you what I have.
He came out with a case of Dino Bones. YES!
I'll take two.
It was one of the more awesome family dinners in a while!
Got some Dino bones. Rubbed them with my basic Angel rub doctored for this. A little Worcestershire and turbinado added.
They were about 10" x 10" loaded.

Panned some of the fat for a roux for the Stroganoff sauce.
Amazing pullback.

Awesome result!

Thanks for looking!

Def,

That is one stellar entry in this throwdown! I'd eat that in a heartbeat!

It does look, however, like you cooked your meal (unless I am missing something) on in indoor stove, which is neither a grill or smoker.

Now if the bacon you used was home smoked and or cured, that would be another story, so please advise to determine if your entry qualifies in this TD, and please provide pics to back this up.

And folks, just a reminder to READ THE RULES BEFORE YOU ENTER BBQ BRETHREN THROWDOWNS:

That is all!

Aye you caught me. I'll retire to the Throwdown Shame box

Ok, folks, that's a wrap! Quite the bunch of fine entries on this one. :thumb:

Poll by peeps to follow...

Looks like I missed it by 3 minutes. LOL

Should of posted here first instead of q-talk

Actually, Tony, the deadline is 10amPST/12pmCST so you were late by 87 minutes. :icon_blush:

Nonetheless...I'd hit that!
