Couple of Chuckies on the Akorn - Live

Picked up a couple of chuck roasts from Kroger this week since they were on sale.



Whipped up a quick injection of Butcher's Prime Dust, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, and water.

Injected and rubbed with Triple 9 Bovine and Pepper Cow:

Tossed it on the Akron and now we wait.

Just checked the chuckies and saw that the are at about 170 IT. Sliced up a couple of onions and added to the pan a packet of beefy onion soup mix and 2 cups water.

Its amazing how they always show up after most of the work has been done. Could have used her during the prewash cycle of the dishes.

IT hit 208 and it was probing like butter so I decided to pull it. Tossed it in to the cooler until ready for supper in about an hour or so.

That looks delicious! The only thing that would have made it better is if it were about 20 degrees cooler, that's when those meals really hit the spot. Make sure the helper gets a share.

Just a recommendation.

Photobucket sucks. If you are not paying, the photos are blurred and they put that huge logo on it. I don't know why anyone would want to use Photobucket if they treat their potential clients like that.
