Smoked four birds so I did them a few different ways. Two halves, jerked. Two halves, rubbed and mopped, four halves rubbed then mopped. Turned out amazing except the jerk, I didn't care for the store bought marinade.

Lookin good to me, what marinade did you use,
Thanks. I did a simple brine with gallon water, cup of kosher salt, half cup soy sauce. Soaked over night. I slathered two halves with a store bought jerk paste. The rest I seasoned with Kosmos Q Dirty Bord on half and Sucklebusters Clucker Dust on the other. Then sauced with Blues Hog original on four halves. The other two I just squirted with a mop sauce similar to Rodney Scott's recipe but added a little bbq sauce.

Killer yard bird! Straight pellet smoke or supplemented w/ smoker box?
Thank you. I used Kingsford apple flavor signature briquettes with Mesquite wood chips in the smoke box. I really like the flavored briquettes, usually Mesquite or hickory but apple is all that I had on hand.
