Made some carne asada on the Weber last night. Thought I would share my recipe for the marinade.

1/3 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tsp cumin
2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1.5 tsp oregano or Mexican oregano
2 limes juiced
4 cloves garlic minced.

This will marinade 1-2.5 lbs of thin cut steak. Use flank, top sirloin or something that is cut thin (1/8"-14") and lean. Mix all the above ingredients and place meat/marinade in ziplock bag. Let go at least 4 hours, 24+ is better. Cook til medium and that will happen fast. Cut up into half inch pieces. Serve on warm corn tortillas with queso fresco, chopped cilantro and sauteed onions. Squeeze lime juice over taco and don't forget to put a lime slice in the Dos Equis.
