Brisket Sunday

Looks like a nice hunk of cow. Might look around for some wood chunks rather than chips. They last a lot longer.

I did have some chunks on order but they never arrived......and as it’s coming up to autum/winter I thought I would use up my chips for now

Well, one must burn what one has! I'd bet it will be tasty. The good thing is that if it is actually chuck it will cook very similarly to a brisket. It does look like it could be brisket though.

Your briquettes are interesting, with the raised ridges. What brand is that?

So it’s 4hrs into the cook.....time to wrap and add some beef stock

They are Webber briquettes, bought an 8kg bag for £14.........

Looks great! Nice smoke ring.

Sure looks like a brisket flat to me. How long did it cook?

Your brisket turned out really good. I never had a sandwich like that but, I am gonna now. Glad your smoker is working out for you

Looking good.
Brisket is one thing my kids want the most once we finally get into our new house soon.
Been building since March and my cooks have been limited during this time.
