Anyone have any experience with this company or their smokers? Look solid but what in the world is a reverse flow vertical offset????

"reverse flow vertical offset" had me scratching my head too.

I found a video of that cooker on YouTube and I guess it is what the says it is. It looks like a standard vert/offset but with a longer diverter - similar to a normal reverse flow offset - goes almost to the CC wall opposite the firebox...the smoke /heat exits using a vent /stack that's on the same side as the firebox.

I'm of no help with the Boathouse smoker, but Brethren Badgerjacob seems to be the one to ask.
Hope all is going well with you, Keith! Keep warm!

Reverse flow vertical might mean the smoke box is on the bottom and the smoke rises between the inner/outer walls and enters cooking chamber at the top. Smoke exits at bottom and rises through a chimney.

Maybe.

I just watched a youtube video, unless I’m mistaken it simply has a plate pushing hot air to far side of the vertical box, and the exhaust is back to the firebox side. Would really like to know how well this works on the smaller vertical.

No disrespect intended but, what is the attraction to these smokers?

I looked into a Lone Star Grillz verticle but, ended up getting my Shirley.
