Bison Airlighter 520

I was given a Bison Airlighter 520 for Christmas. It looks like it could replace a lot of hardware and such for fire starting. The unit trquires using Butane similar to the old Zippo lighters. I have not yet ourchased the butane. There was limited instructions with unit and you tube is vague. There is a built in battery that can be charged with a USB cable. Limited instructions say 4-6 hours charging an d red light will turn green, I have a flashing red light but no green light. There is a switch that operates a built in blower after initial firing .
I have not gassed up the unit yet, would this prevent fan from blowing??

It might, there may be a thermocouple that triggers the fan
