Hello, all.
I am posting again to announce a contest I am organizing.
It is on Saturday, September 27th, in Hawthorne NJ, as part of the Hawthorne Day festivities.
This year, we are naming the winner 'Best Ribs in NJ' (by our own authority).
$100 to enter, $500 1st place, $250 2nd place, $100 3rd place. Prizes as well, to be announced.
Pork ribs - spare or baby back.
Any fuel type allowed, other than that we are trying to follow KCBS rules.
BBQ Mafia & Big Blue BBQ Crew participated last year (1st & 2nd place, respectively), and have already expressed interest in this year's contest.
We have about 10 teams lined up already, hoping to get 20 teams total.
