Since our first date was cancelled due to Covid -19 restrictions we rescheduled The Roselle Sons Of The American Legion Post 1084 1st
Annual Smoking On Maple BBQ Competition to Sat 8/29 at the American Legion Post located at 344 E. Maple in Roselle. This is a fundraiser to raise money for our veterans programs. This is a backyard type competition but all levels of grillers and smokers are welcome to sign up and compete. Teams will be cooking two categories :
Chicken and Ribs
Entry is $45.00
Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners along with ribbons for 3rd place. We will also have many items of interest from some of our our local sponsors to award with the trophies. The contest is open to any level of grillmasters or pitmasters.
Public is invited to stop by and watch the teams and enjoy a BBQ lunch provided by Smo-King Edward Catering in return for a donation to the Sons.
We also welcome any local businesses who may want to be a sponsor for this first year event as well.
