Beef Jerky Time

The Jewels had eye of round on sale for $1.99/lb. After trimming the fat it comes out to $2.38/lb.

Some people buy handles of rum or vodka, I buy handles of soy sauce.

Slice it up, just over six lbs. Mix in the marinade and into the fridge for a soak.

Sesame seeds

Hi Andy, Joe B here. Leave the seeds on, they do impart a bit of flavor when meat is smoked. I would love to get some of that beef for $1.99 Lb.
