Beans & Goulash In My Future

The Bride has been wanting new furniture for a while. Now it's to the point of need not want. You go scout out furniture, I'll go ride my bike.
Well, she went all frugal at some stores, I visited and wasn't impressed. Went back to where we always do and with me present we spent several thousand more than she expected. What is it y'all say buy once cry once??? She's in shock, we'll be eating beans and Goulash for a while. If we want to dine out perhaps split a Happy Meal.
Here's my today's MSU Goulash.

Comfort food. I grew up with Goulash, American Goulash.
1# ground burger, browned
1 small chopped onion
Chopped red, green, yellow bell
Any leftovers -mushroom, squash
3/4 Can Rotel tomatoes w/green Chile
1 small can tomato sauce like El Pato***
Season to taste- Goya AP, Lawry's
1 cup small elbows al dente

Top with Sriracha Ketchup or favorite hot sauce- or both

***If it needs thinned use more sauce, past water or V8 spicy

Salt & Pepper if desired
