I replied with photos, but since I'm fairly new to posting, my photos have to be approved by a moderator.

No worries. Same concept as a BGE. Ceramic body and lid (flower pots). Air inlet and outlet controls. A smaller pot with bottom cut out and floor drain strainer is the firebox. Ceramic plate is heat diffuser and the grates were from my ECB.

Works like a charm.

Smoker works great. I'm happy enough with the builder I have him making me a charcoal chicken cooker now.

I don't know. He does build warmers onto some of his pits so I don't see why he couldn't build a vertical.

That stainless unit on the far right is the nicest drum cooker I've ever seen. I like the foot operated lid assist. Would be great when you've got your hands full of food.
