blazinfire that is an awesome cooker you have there, I've been looking at the thread.

Thanks. I hope I won't need to add anymore cookers to this thread!

Blazinfire, that's a fine looking Bandera clone, much better for sure.

Well to be fair, I was looking more at the LSG vertical offsets when building it.. But their all the same really, same concept/design. I love everything about it. Drafts good, cooks good!

Here's the progression of my "Smokers" ....

1 -Bought the little Mini BGE for a steal (brand new). Cooks great but way too small.

2 -Inherited my late grandfathers Egg from my uncle. It's from the late 1970's / early 80's. I remember running around playing and not being much taller than it was. I refurbished it....Cooks great but has some cracks since it's clay and not ceramic. I want to keep it as is and not use it much since it belonged to my Grandfather, which is why I bout the below cookers / smokers.

3 - Bought this Old Country Wrangler off CL for $300.00. Great shape. Broke my wrist unloading it with a friend though (he dropped his side and it fell backwards. I went with it. Ugh.) Now it's cost me WAY more in lost income. Oh well.

4 - Just bought this used 2013 Yoder YS480 for a great deal. Previous owner gave me 40 lbs. of pellets, and Maverick Redi Check w/remote. Awesome cooker but I think the smoke level will not be as much as I like. Gotta order a smoke tube.

5 - LSG-IVC (Large w/cart) on Order. May have to give this up though due to my broken wrist injury. It's costing me almost $6K in lost income over 10 weeks of being on light duty. Haven't decided yet. Tough decision.

Wow! Looks like you have an OLD Egg like mine.
I don't know much about mine. It was handed down from my uncle who got it from my late Grandfather.

Yeah, I noticed that. SilverFinger has one just like it as well. I got the little one like yours on Craigslist for I think $45 from someone who probably stole it. It is in pretty good shape but I don't cook on it much either. I use my large Kamado all the time though. I need to find a good home for the little one.

Oh man...you guys are killin' me. I want (not need) a stick burner in the worst way. Can I get the samr flavor profile on a charcoal burner with wood chunks?
Hibuck...
